Turning Parachute MATERIAL OFFCUTS into ENVIRO-Friendly Style with JYRO.

While constructing bags from out-of-service parachutes, we also became aware of the substantial waste the parachute manufacturing process created.

Determined to do something about it, ZeroBag teamed up with Jyro, the designer and manufacturer of epic parachute canopies in Auckland, to turn their unused fabric into ZeroBag Offcut bags.

Based in Auckland, Jyro has been crafting parachute canopies since 1986 when founder Paul ‘Jyro’ Martyn started making them in his garage. The team at Jyro shares our passion for flight and reducing waste, making them enthusiastic about repurposing their offcuts to create another remarkable ZeroBag product.

ZeroBag Offcut bags maintain the compact, strong, and user-friendly design that ZeroBag is known for while offering a sustainable solution to prevent parachute waste from ending up in landfills. They are available in a variety of fun colour combinations, including the new 'two-tone' - Carpathian.
